Cookie Policy

Proposed categories for essential storage, preferences, analytics and marketing technologies.

Working draft · 24 August 2026 · Not effective

Status of this document

This is a draft implementation guide, not a final cookie disclosure. It must be reconciled against the technologies actually deployed before it can take effect.

Proposed categories

Essential storage supports security, sessions, basket state and consent records. Preference storage remembers user choices. Analytics would measure aggregate performance. Marketing technologies, if ever introduced, would require a distinct documented purpose.

  • Essential technologies cannot be disabled where the requested service depends on them.
  • Optional analytics and marketing should not load before consent where consent is legally required.
  • Users should be able to revisit optional choices at any time.

Current deployment note

The initial platform is designed to minimise third-party tracking. The final table of cookie names, providers, purposes and lifetimes must be generated from the production deployment rather than invented in advance.
