Virtual Currency Terms

These draft terms are not approved or effective. Financial, consumer, tax, age and territory review is required before any virtual-credit pack is sold.

What Depth Marks are

Depth Marks are proposed closed-loop virtual store credit usable only for eligible items designated by SEA-DEVIL Studios. They are not cash, cryptocurrency, electronic money, a security, an investment or an interest-bearing account.

• No cash value and no cash redemption except where law requires otherwise.
• Non-transferable between users unless a future approved feature expressly permits it.
• No external trading, staking, exchange or speculative use.
• Account balance may never be spent below zero.

Ledger and purchases

Every grant, purchase, reversal, adjustment and expiry should create an immutable ledger entry. The service should display the applicable token price and resulting balance before confirmation.

Minors, refunds and closure

Guardian controls and purchase approval should apply where appropriate. The final terms must define permitted reversals, treatment of promotional balances, account closure and any legally required refund route.
